The following is a summary of the proceedings of the Statutory Public Meeting, and the Regular Council Meeting held September 20, 2023:
- At the Statutory Public Meeting, Council received an Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment report for 140 Alcona Drive.
- During the Regular Council Meeting, Council authorized the adoption of the Official Plan Amendment No. 8 by passing By-law No. 87-23, Being a By-law to Adopt an Amendment to the Official Plan.

A Special Council Meeting – Closed Session will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 8:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Office.
Purpose: Subject matter relating to personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees, pursuant to the Municipal Act, 2001, as amended, Section 239(2)(b), (1 Item: CAO Recruitment.)

The Municipality of Sioux Lookout is accepting written donation requests from organizations for the 2024 budget year. If you are interested in submitting a request, please complete an Application form which can be obtained from our website: https://slkt.me/DonationRequest or the document can be picked up from the Customer Service Desk of the Municipal Office, 25 Fifth Avenue.
